NizoChrist‑500 contains nitazoxanide, a broad‑spectrum antiparasitic and antiviral agent that targets protozoa and helminths by disrupting parasite energy metabolism and growth. It is primarily used to treat:

• Giardiasis and Cryptosporidium‑induced diarrhea in immunocompetent adults and children

• Intestinal worm infections and certain parasitic diarrheas

• Off‑label antiviral support in acute respiratory viral infections (e.g. influenza, other coronaviruses)
